That .jpg link did not show an image but rather the home page of imageshack.
I have two sound layers. One has a fire alarm which displays nicely. I have another layer with the “Windows_Ding.wav” which shows as just a line. It makes me think that if the amplitude is low or if there is not much fluctuation in the sound, I wont get a layer display. Just guessing.
So I had the same problem, while I had Quicktime installed. That was driving me crazy ! I managed to make it work by going in the properties of my file and make it open with QuickTime by default, or even better, right click >open with > choose another app> click always use this program to run wav files> choose QuickTime.
So I’m running Windows 8.1 and I’m having the same issue. I tried installing QuickTime but when I try to open it it says I need to install apple application support. So I try to install iTunes and it says an error has occurred in the installation. How can I install QuickTime if it isn’t supported on my version of windows?
Have you trying to find it on audacity guides? Audacity have a bunch of operating system, you can try to download it for free. I use that for many times and there is no problem I encounter of that app. https://audacityguides.com/
