Z-Depth Layering not happening


I have a rig made of multiple drawing layers attached to pegs with tone shaders, lighting glows, etc. For some reason some of the layers can be moved physically in the z-depth but don’t change in the layer order of the composite. This problem is inconsistent with different drawing layers and I can’t find any reason why they shouldn’t display as other layers do. Can somebody please help?



I think it depends on your hierarchy and the composite nodes you have in your network, try to set all composites Mode to “Pass Through” and see how it works.
