Will Animate 2 be able to import Storyboard files?

I’m assuming that it works with Storyboard Pro but not the base version and just want to confirm.

im sure it will because storyboard saves exports the file as a animate file

Yes when you export your Storyboard file, just do an “Export to Toonboom” and then select .digital, and then you can open up the .digital file in Animate 2.

thanks to both of you for your help.

storyboard 1.5 (not the pro version) doesn’t have an export to toonboom option. so, it is not compatible. it’s not compatible with tbs5, so i’m not losing anything.

Well for the regular version of Storyboard, you can always export your panels as bitmap images and import those images into Animate. You would then set up your timing in Animate.
