Why is there so relatively little discussion or support for toon boom harmony on the internet?

During all of the research I did selecting an animation program, this often came up as the top choice for amateurs and professionals. Yet the amount of discussion and information outside of their own basic tutorials and a smattering of youtube videos which gloss over too much seems sparse. Even the tiny amount of subscribers here is baffling. I am finding this program terribly difficult to learn

Hi jwalamukhi,

I’m in the process of learning Harmony as well! I’ve talked to a few folks at ToonBoom who are working on this very thing - building up the community. I’m very excited about that.

In the meantime, I’m posting on facebook and twitter and communicating with friends in the industry who use it - mostly focusing on rigging. Trying to gather as much knowledge as possible.

Is there a particular area of Harmony you’re looking to learn more about?

Hello
You can look at a bunch of tutorials on youtube like here
https://www.youtube.com/user/ToonBoomAnimation/videos

Crash course
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mWbPfqTlJs

Stylus Rumble has also good tutorials

and when you feel like going for something more advanced, this guy is great at making tutorials for it

but the best thing to start with is the manual with the getting started section… https://docs.toonboom.com/help/harmony-15/premium/book/index.html
