I teach 2D animation at College of the Redwoods and need to move from ToonBoom Studio to Harmony. It is a beginner to intermediate level class. What version of Harmony would you recommend and why? Thank you.
From my perspective it would have to be Harmony Advanced if you could not purchase Harmony Premium. Why? If you had Harmony Premium you could instruct people to the depth of your choosing. Short of that Harmony Advanced takes layer-based techniques as far as they go before moving to node-based. Harmony Essentials is the lowest level in the tier system with many features blocked so I would eliminate that from my choices.
