What's the best way to create a rig with no visible strokes/ink lines?

Hi all!

I have made a few rigged puppets in the past, however, they have all had visible ink lines. I am making a new puppet, this time without visible strokes and just wanted to know the best way to do it. Would I make the strokes the same colour as the colour layer? Would I draw invisible strokes? Would I draw the strokes and then go back and delete them after I have put the colour in? What do people tend to do?

I think is best to leave it without line (invisible strokes), the simpler the better. As for the creation method, go for whatever you feel more comfortable, either doing the lines and erasing them or drawing with invisible strokes have the same results. I’d probably draw with line and erase the line later.
