If I develop a library of images and animation sequences, will this be available when the full version arrives? What steps do I need to undertake to ensure this information (if any) is not deleted with its installation?

If you purchase on our online store or by phone, you should have received a license key. If that’s the case you can registered it and then download the full version of TBS to install it right away.
All you need is to visit the members section.
About your questions, Yes you will be able to get back your library of drawings and animations.
