Want to skew a parent with the child, but the child to not skew with it, rather move with it.

Someone had asked about this three years ago. It seems he may have had it solved. Unsure whether or not it’s related to my request.


Basically, I want an object to skew, and another with it, although instead of skewing as well, have it simply move with the average location in the object’s skew.

In case I’m being too complicated to understand, I’m including an image guide below.

I can do this easily with kinematic output but that requires a deformer, not really sure how you’d do it without doing it manually with regular skew. Interesting question!
