I have an idea to make this program much more beginner friendly. The idea is to show the keyboard shortcut for the tool as you hover your cursor over it.
Just the same as it gives a brief description but have the current shortcut key at the end. Have it adapt to your custom shortcuts as well.
It is very difficult coming from other similar creative programs and having to learn a completely different set of keys. I constantly have to look up the shortcuts for basic tools because the default shortcuts are counter intuitive and the process of creating slows to a crawl.
If you were to see the shortcut for the tool on hover it would constantly be accessible and remind you. This function would make learning the new control scheme much quicker and a lot less frustrating.
