using multiple cameras

I have two cameras. How do I get the movie to switch from one camera view to another? It only records one view. I am using the peg to set start/end times, but it makes no difference. The pegs seem to only effect where the camera position. I want to incorporate long shots and close ups. I’ll pay you for tutoring if you know how to do this!!

One can use and render only one camera at a time…
Either use your video editor and assemble those shots…
Or check out this short tutorial…

I’m in a similar spot here, I have a short scene that I’d like to shoot with three cameras, then edit them together in post. It’s how I would do it in a 3D program. So I pulled in a couple cameras but I can’t seem to make any adjustments or determine which camera is in use. I can’t see camera 2 on the timeline, although it is in network view. Is there something I’m missing?

Any Camera you select from the Scene drop-down will appear in the timeline.
