hey
i need to make scenes made up by frame-by-frame animations, to have smooth characters, so no cut-out animation…
if i use the pen or brush, when I draw my character, and then say want to modify the lines in any way, with the white cursor that sees individual vertexes or points, there are thousands. I need to have very few of these so i can easily distort/modify/skew my character or even my character clothes.
How can I get rid of the million dots that are making a line when only 3 or 4 points (with curvature points) should do and the line looks same as the one containing million points/vertexes.
thanks,
adrian
actually I use Toon Boom Animate, but i’m beginner
This is the Toon Boom Studio forum. You have a better chance of getting a relevant answer in the Animate forum.
Try inking on a different element layer over your rough drawings element layer using the pen tool to get vector lines with minimal points for easy adjusting. -JK
Besides clean up, there are a couple of features that you might want to explore:
Go to >TOOLS >> DRAW TOP LAYER and SNAP TO CONTOUR
