Using Cutter Module in Animate Pro 2

Hi there,

I’m trying to use the cutter module in Animate Pro (using as a mask to hide part of pupil in a character’s eyeball). I followed the tutorial here: http://www.toonboom.com/products/animate/how-to/tipsandtricks/masking.php , However, I couldn’t get it to work. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you!

I am not sure what your issue is

but if you watch

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CRHOoUU0Q6Y

and after that parts 2 and 3 I use the cutter module extensivly.

@TheRaider:

I watched your video but the ONLY possible thing that may lead somewhere to my answer is that you said (in part 3/3) - “In Animate Pro, you’re going to have to make each of these layers into a composite before putting it into your cutter tool”…How exactly do you do this? I basically just drew the layers with the brush tool but didn’t make them into a symbol…

Ahh did I use Animate for that? Sorry, I thought I showed pro. I posted it super quick as i ran out the door (and late for work) this mourning. :-[

I will make it up to you but making a tip about the cutter module tonight when I get home in pro.

As promised just you for ;D

let me know if it isn’t clear/still having trouble.
