Upgrading to 3.5 but Not Really...

This past summer, I purchased TBS 3, but have not yet installed it. (I’m new to TBS and, after hearing 3.5 was around the corner, I opted to wait and start with 3.5 rather than relearn stuff.) Last week, I bought TBS 3.5.

Is 3.5 a full installer? Can I just install 3.5? Or, do I need to first install 3 and then upgrade to 3.5?

Using Toon Boom Studio 3.5 build 59 / G4 iMac OSX 10.4.8

As far as I know, Toon Boom Studio V3.5 is an independent installer,
so you don’t have to install V3.0 before.

Thanks!

Now I just have to wait for my Mac OS X Tiger upgrade DVD to arrive, and then I can give this thing a whirl! (Finally!)

more than this. for a win platform (i suppose macs are not different) the v3.0 and v3.5 work parallelly. you can open projects either in 3.0 or a 3.5.

but watch out: any project opened and saved in 3.5 won’t open in 3.0 anymore.

for this you would have to save it as a 3.5 version (and not simply save). then the old copy’ll still work with v3.0.
cheers,
