Unable to Parse Preferences Files

This issue has been happening for quite a while now and I’m still not sure what it means or how to solve it. Once in a while when I start up Harmony 22 this message will appear and I believe it might be causing problems with my projects. For example when I opened a project I had worked on recently, all the work I had done was corrupted and wouldn’t appear. When I go to the file location and open the file it isn’t empty so it may be corrupted somehow?
Any help will be appreciated!
Carly

The screenshot error is of Harmony 21.1, are you sure your using Harmony 22?

I have updated since I took this screenshot but the same error message is still popping up since I updated to 22

Try deleting your preference file and starting fresh. Close Harmony if you have it open.

In Explorer go to:
C:\Users\carle\AppData\Roaming\Toon Boom Animation\Toon Boom Harmony Premium\

The AppData folder is hidden. To display it in Explorer, in the top menu, open the View pane and check the Hidden Items checkbox.

From here you can delete or back-up(if you like) the full-XXXX-pref folder(s), this should reset Harmony to it’s default the next time you open it.
