Transparency effect affects every layer separately

I realized that when I create a cut out charater built of several layers and I add a transparency effect to the whole character symbol the effect will be applied to every layer separately.
This makes that the zones where the layers overlap will be shown more opaque. Is there a possibility to apply the transparency effect to the character that way that the character is considered as one layer and ovelapping zones won’t become more opaque than the rest?

By the way, this phenomenon does not appear in digital pro when putting the transparency effect after a common composite of all the character’s layers.

The group of layers is treated as one hole element and alphas of overlapping zones are not summated.

So this should work in Animate too, isn’t it?

I noticed the same behavior as you have and we are investigating on this situation. This should be addressed in an upcoming patch for the software.
