ToonBoom Running out of Memory

I have this gpu in my system.

I have 16 GB of RAM

Why does Harmony keep running out of memory for this project I am doing? Yes, there is some multiplane camera movement going on with some rack focus, but the colors are flat and simple.

I have Harmony 9

Harmony 9 is a 32bit application, so even if you are on a 64bit operating system like windows 7 x64 harmony will only be able to see a maximum of 4 gigs of ram.
(for practcal purposes the tech guys may well tell you this is even less)

If you want to make use of the 16gigs of ram you will need to use harmony 10 on a 64bit operating system

Ow… That is a big limitation… Gah… Thank you. I hope thereis a student upgrade option… :frowning:

Actually for 32-bit programs the maximum usable memory size per program is something like 1.6 to 1.7 GB. That’s the maximum under the most favorable conditions. In reality it could be a lot less depending on what else is running and in memory and which O.S. features are enabled.
