I’m rendering out some scenes and it’s currently only using 1 GB or RAM to do so. I have 16GB total. As well as a MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 Gaming 4GB GDDR5 2DVI/HDMI/DisplayPort PCI-Express Video Card.
A large amount of RAM is not required when rendering a final project as the CPU is the focal hardware.
RAM is more important when building projects and using the GPU with render view and OpenGL.
