So I just got Toon Boom V4 and I want to rotoscope but I can’t just file import video like I see people doing with version 5 of toon boom. Is there a way to do it in version 4 or a way to get around using a mov file.

But i know the answer that the video importing feature is new feature that does not exite in V4. You need to upgrade.

the topic has been discussed in the ‘general discussion’ forum.
the video import feature (qt videos with sound) is a feature available in tb studio v4.5. upwards.
the v4.0 has only flash import, so it is either possible to split the imported film into image sequence or to upgrade.
