Toon Boom Harmony Essentials 15 won't open on macOS Catalina 10.15.4

Hi, I have Toon Boom Harmony Essentials 15 (The non-subscription version) and I was trying to open it on my Mac (It’s macOS Catalina 10.15.4) and it keeps saying that “QtXml.framework” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash & “QtXml.framework” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash and it causes Harmony Essentials 15 to crash and it doesn’t open.

I need some help trying to figure out what I need to do or should I buy the latest version(The non subscription one) it so I can be able to use it?

Hello Toxic-Ramen,

Harmony 15 is not compatible with macOS Catalina due to the stricter signing requirements and the removed support for 32-bit code. Harmony 17 and Storyboard Pro 7 are supported on Catalina though, so upgrading to the latest version of our software will fix this problem.

If you’d like more information or would like help from our team on the best path for you to buy Harmony 17, please do not hesitate to e-mail community@toonboom.com
