Toom Boom Studio7.1 dont work in Mac OS High Sierra

I bought Toon Boom in 2013. I invested a lot of dollars in it and never used it for lack of time. Now that I have been trying to use it it only shows me error messages when trying to install. can you help me?

I just tried to open ToonBoom Studio 8.1 and it doesn’t work either. I was searching to see if there are any fixes.

Thanks.

Hi,

This issue is generated by Quarantines applied by the MacOS.

  1. Open a terminal window.

  2. Switch to an administrator account (su admin).

  3. Change directory to /Applications (cd /Applications).

  4. Check which files have extended attributes (ls -lsa).

Entries marked with “@” have extended attributes.

Entries marked with “+” have ACLs.

  5. List the attributes (xattr -l filename).

  6. Remove the “com.apple.quarantine” attribute if it is defined (xattr -d com.apple.quarantine filename).

  7. Recheck the attributes.

  8. Rinse and repeat for all “downloaded applications” giving errors.

  9. Exit.

I did all the procedures and it worked.

However, I can not activate the product.

I tried every way and it says “Error 7109 - Product code not found”.

What would be the product code?

Would you help me?

Thank you.

Did you return your previous key? https://docs.toonboom.com/help/activation/activation/return-license.html

That could also be related to trusted storage on the machine!

Try the following in Terminal;

cd /Library

cd Applications\Support/

rm -R FLEXnet\Publisher/

Deploy the App and validate your key, if you didn’t return your license just email us at desk@toonboom.com
