Timeline view - check buttons at far left aren't blue like in tutorial

Hello,

The buttons at the far left of the timeline used to turn blue when i checked them. Now they stay clear. I think this is affecting me in the camera view as i am having trouble seeing the entire cartoon character at one time…

How can I make the blue come back on for the checkmark button things…?

I think it’s normal that the checkbox is not blue. When you select a layer, the layer turns blue. But checkboxes in the timeline are usually the default gray.
