maybe you can help me:
everytime I open Animate, the Timeline Toolbar is off and I can’t turn it on. It’s not on the Windows/Toolbars list. I have to close the Timeline panel and open it again or switch the workspaces a few times. The toolbar then appears on the list and I only then I can turn it on. I haven’t checked if it also happens to other toolbars or panels.
This is exactly what happens to me but with network view toolbar:
Haven’t heard of a solution yet, sorry! (But let me know if you fix it please)
Reinstalling the software fixed the problem. Hope it helps you.
I’ll give it a go and let you know how I get on
I’ve been having the same problem.
I have my Xsheet sharing the same area as the timeline. I always have to click on the Xsheet to replace the timeline, then click back to the timeline and the tool bar appears.
It seems like a little bug, and I’d welcome a fix.
I’m on Windows 7.
Try deleting your software preferences while the program is closed, perhaps they became corrupted somehow.
C:\Users[username]\AppData\Roaming\Toon Boom Animation\Toon Boom Animate Pro
/users/[your user’s folder]/Library/Preferences/Toon Boom Animation/Toon Boom Animate Pro.
Thanks for the reply.
I don’t seem to be able to find a ToonBoom folder in the Roaming folder.
The folder may hidden, you will need to show hidden folder on your system by going into the folder options. If you still don’t see it then maybe you have never made any changes to your preferences.
Going into menu-Windows and selecting “Restore Default Workspace” should also work.
That seems to have sorted it.
Thank you so much.
The timeline toolbar is just completely gone, I tried everything… what do I do?
