The cheapest tablet for storyboard pro.

Hi. First, sorry to bring it up this issue again, but I saw some topics about it and I wanna know a little bit more than the obvious solutions like Surface 3 or 4. I know that you can end up with that and will be good, but I was wondering if those other brand tablets can deliver a honest / fair condition to work with Storyboard Pro.

The only use for the tablet will be to create storyboards on the go using storyboard pro.

What is important:

  • run the software smoothly?
  • Is it work with a stylus? how bad is the parallax?
  • does it have pressure sensor?
  • the resolution is good enough to work on SBpro?

Searching on amazon (US) I saw those cheap tablets (Im not a tablet user, so i dont know if they are good enough)

The Surface Pro 4 is the best portable artist friendly tablet. period.

Is amazing, battery life, pressure sensitivity pen (not like wacom cintiq, but good enough), small, easy to carry around.

the other option is the Wacom MobileStudio Pro, not cheap, forget about the Cintiq companion, a lot of bad reviews, complains, and is big, so no no…

if you want a cheap option, go with a Intuos tablet and a cheap laptop. (not recommended)

is an investment, never go with a cheap product, you will regretted in the future…

but do u think a surface 3 like these one is enough?

Please keep in mind that in testing, only Wacom tablets are
fully supported and provide all the needed features.

mmm not sure about the Intel Atom…

if you can do some tests can be nice! just in case, remember that Wacom is the only brand that is supported by toon boom

Yeah I must agree here. I bought a Surface Book today to run Harmony Premium and what a joke. Tomorrow I will place my preorder for the Mobilestudio Pro. I know Wacom will work with all the features
