teaching TBS contra Flash

Hi, to all. I’m a multimedia teacher 11th and 12th grade in Belgium. I do animation with flash. But after testing TBS it was a relieve to see what TBS can do in less time with more fun with the kids. We make short movies in animation and do some advertising stuff with animations. So i’m looking to buy TBS at an academic price for myself to study it for next schoolyear.

I’m about to start my first full school year with Toon Boom in place. Last year I got it half way through the year, which was a little distracting.

Several of my students went into Toon Boom reluctantly, but were quick to see its value as it applies to animation. Coupled with Flash or alone, TBS has a lot to offer and has many features that beat Flash as an animation tool.
