TBS Crashes when I cut and paste

I am using v 6.0 on a Mac.

OS 10.7.5

When I cut and paste there are times when the project crashes.

It is random. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn’t.

I am in the middle of a project now and I can tough it out… I am just wondering why I am having this problem?

Is it my OS?

Is it a corrupted preference file?

As far as I know OSX 10.7 should be fine…
If in doubt, check Toon Boom Studios System Preferences…

Well, one can always delete the preference file, if necessary… sometimes it helps…
Be aware, all your personal settings will be lost…

What are you cutting / copying / pasting ? Single frames / drawings, or entire timelines…?
Be aware, the more complex / bigger your task, the more RAM you might need…

I have 32 GB of ram… I am thinking it might be preference file.

How do I access that? They used to be easy to find in other OS versions.

This happens when I try to copy and paste 1 frame at a time in both simply and complex projects.

Thank you for responding!

As far as I know the User Library Folder is hidden in newer OSX systems…
Select the Go Menu from the top Toolbar…
When the Contextual Window opens hold down the option key…
The Library should appear… Select it… Select the Preference Folder…
Delete the e.g. “toonboom.plist” (or similar) Preference Files.
Restart Toon Boom Studio…
