little question for you:
i shot a video, and i extracted all pictures within the video (each picture/frame had to be processed thru a different application)
Is there a way to import all pictures and have them automaticaly imported in the right order (a-z) into the timeline?
the purpose is to then reconstruct the video with all these new processed images/frames.

You can create an image layer and import the files into it. you can right click an image cell in the exposure sheet and import from file.
In the file dialog, you can select multiple files.
