I was just looking at old Disney cells and noticing their inking style involved lines that are of uniform weight, but taper at the end. It would be nice to have something like that. Manga Studio and Anime Studio both give you the option to have lines that automatically taper at one or both ends. When animating frame-by-frame, having a lot of weight variations in a line makes it look uneven and not consistent between frames, but the pencil line with the blunt ends doesn’t look great, either. So it would be great to combine the uniform weight of the pencil line with the smooth tapering end of the variable-width brush.
