I noticed that copying and pasting Symbols within the Symbols Library gives birth to weird names which are hard to pinpoint.
A copied Symbol should simply be given the same name as the original item, and be pasted right next to it.
Symbol ‘Dude’ should copy as ‘Dude copy’, and not, as happens now, with whatever the first layer inside the Dude Symbol is called.
When you have, as often happens, a Library with dozens of Symbols, this unpredictable way Animate renames forces you to go treasure-hunting for the Symbol you just copied.
It can be confusing, and confusion can easily lead into mistakes…
