Swapping character view templates changes pivot point


I’m trying to swap the full body view of a character from three quarter to profile. If I import the template and don’t move it anywhere in the scene, when I drag the profile view to the timeline, the pivots match up and the character is in the same position in the scene. However, if I import the three quarter view template then re position it in the scene, when I try to swap it with the profile view, it uses the same pivot as if I hadn’t moved the template and the template jumps back to the middle of the scene. If I try to move it to match up, when I rotate a limb, it’s still using the pivot in the middle of the scene.

Can anyone help, I’m not sure what I’ve done wrong!


So I figured it out on my own. I just needed to add a peg to the template within the scene.
