Studio Express install problem

I have downloaded and extracted the files. I double click set.exe and receive a error -6001. It says the following:
Close any running programs…done
Empty temporary folder…done
Check internet connection…done

I have removed the software and downloaded a second time with the same results.

Any ideas?

Hi,

This seems to be an InstallShield corruption. You may want to clear out the InstallShield folder of your machine. You can do that by doing the renaming the following folder:


C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Professional<br />
to

C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Professional.bak<br />(for backup reasons)

Once this is done you should be able to go through the installation.
