i dont know if whether this is a bug or not, but for some reason, the grid in toonboom animate actually moves along with the image. so if i rotate the image, the grid itself rotates and moves along with it. so in this case, the grid doesnt stay in one spot. the grid is totally useless when it moves with the image so i always turn it off…How do i make the grid stay still like it should?

This is actually normal. The grid is actually linked to your drawing element. To have your grid static you would need to work in the Drawing view only. The fact that you are moving elements with pegs will move the canvas of the drawing element, which result in the moving of the grid as well. They way to get a static grid would be to use the field guide template which you would enable and disable in need.
