File/Import/Images as scenes… is broken. An image sequence consisting of 52 different .jpgs all come in as the same scene (52 copies of the first image of the sequence.)
Leaving as bitmap or converting to vector yields the same unacceptable results.
Which version are you using? It appears to be working properly on my end.
Do your images come in as layers of a scene or does it make new panels?
