I think all toon boom projects should have this…
Right now you always get a error when you use space when naming a drawing layer.
Its a common sence for ppl to use space when writing multiple words so how about allowing that space in the naming system or automatically rewrite each space letter instead of disturbing the workflow with a error message:

“wolf sketch” —> “wolf_sketch” or “wolfSketch”

If you change the layer name in the Layer Properties panel, it does put the underscore.
But fair enough, no reason it shouldn’t act the same way when changing the name in the timeline.
