Selecting Multiple Non-Contiguous Layers

I guess this is a super basic question:
I know we can select more than one layer by pressing SHIFT and clicking the layers.
But what if there’s one of those layers in the middle I DON’T want to select?

I thought it’d be like in other softwares where you press COMMAND and you can individually select or de-select specific layers, but it doesn’t seem to be working here.

Command select / deselect works perfectly on my system.
Using Harmony Premium 15 / Mac OSX 10.11.6

If you’re using Windows ? Try Control select / deselect.
