Scene and panel numbering position.

Hi There,
I’m not sure weather they use the same software or if they do different exports or something.

But when I was watching on YouTube, “Gravity Falls Live!” they showed some PDF storyboards. Now doing some research, Disney use ToonBoom software, (So it seems). But as shown in the attached image, “Example.png”, you can see that on their file, the scene and panel number are on the same line. But in the image I took “MyExample.png”, the positioning is completely different.

I’m sorry if it seems they use different software or don’t use PDF export. But I was just wondering what if there was a way to change this or something. (I’m new to the software and using the Trial so I might not be able to do it.)

But thanks anyway,
Dan

Hi Danny,

Disney Television is indeed using Storyboard Pro for their tv series.

They customize their PDFs using the customization parameters. There is a lot of things you can modify.

See the link below to see how you can create your own PDF layouts:

I hope this helps!

Hi Marie-Eve.

Thanks for your reply. I looked through the documents and was still unable to find a way to change locations of text, etc. and find a way to change custom parameters. I found the options but again couldn’t find a way to change the positioning of putting the scene and panel numbers on the same line as each other, etc.

Thanks,
Dan

Hi Danny,

I just learned something new, if you go to the Labelling tab and add %1 after the word Panel and Scene, they will appear on the same line.

Scene %1
Panel %1
Sequence %1

I will make sure we add this to the documentation.

I hope this helps!
