Hi all, due to file-size constraints I’ve been thinking of using lower resolution video backdrops for my animation. I seem to remember something a while back about rotoscoping being a new feature in version 4.5 - this would be a real time-saver for me as I’d avoid using the picky & tiresome adobe aftereffects.

Well you can not import live action videos inside the software so it is indeed part of the new features. If I could advise you something about the format used try to get .mov output to import in the software.
