rotate in smaller increments

there must be a way to do this, but I cant seem to find it…

I know pressing ALT 3, brings up rotate, and up or down cursor rotates the element/family/selection etc… left or right…

but its far to big a movement…

am i missing a section in the setup section to change the amount for degrees this rotates?

  1. You can use the transform tool to rotate the element by hand

  2. In the timeline you can set an exact number for the rotation. See this page and scroll down to timeline view and there you see how to open up the cordinate column and add numbers.

yeah i’ve been doing it by hand, but would love a quick short cut.
I know about the time line rotate but its not a handy short cut which id love.
I had it in the previous software I was using and im really missing it you see…

I think what you are looking for could be done with a script.
Unfortunately I am not good at scripts.

I hope you find the sollution in the end.
