Rigging tool problem?!

Hi… How to Move a Rigged Drawing with its Rigging Tool Chain Without Losing Direction?

For Example: I’m Doing a Character with its Limbs Separated by Layers… Meaning Every Limb is in a Layer… Then When I Select Each Limb of Limb Layers to Move Them Somewhere else by Transform Tool… I Play the Scene but the Limbs are Flying and not in Their Place! Then When I Check the Rigging Tool Chain I’ve Made, I Find It In the First Place Before I’ve Moved Them! How to Make The Character be Moved From Its Place With Its Rigging Tool Chain But “The Limbs” Stay In Their Place Simultaneously?

Hi,

It´s a bit hard top know. better upload a screenshot. then it’s easier to understand what could be going on.

Have you pegs to every layer?
It’s better to have a peg to each layer and to set the transformation on the peg instead of the image layer.

Here are the screenshots my friend:

In the first Screenshot we can see the rigging tool is in its right place (on the leg)… and that’s what I want.

Second screenshot:

I click on the leg layer to MOVE IT somewhere else…

Third screenshot:

I MOVE IT from its place, BUT RIGGING TOOL SEEMS NOT TO BE MOVED WITH IT!

My question here: is there a solution for it?

or is it necessary to choose the RIGHT PLACE BEFORE I RIG IT?

What if I changed my mind ( to move it somewhere else AFTER I RIGGED IT)?

& By the way… When I resize the leg AFTER I RIGGED IT, THE RIGGING TOOL CHAIN I MADE ON THE LEG STAYS THE SAME SIZE!

What is the final solution for all these?

Thanks In Advance

Hi,

If you just want to move the rig just add a peg on top of that and set the move on the peg.

What I see the rig has no peg.

I hope that solves the problem.

Thank you very much! That solved my problem! I just needed to add a peg to the rig! Now I can complete my animation successfully! I’m so happy… Words of my appreciation are undescribable

Again: thank you very much

My best regards: sami.

Great that it solved the problem.
