Rendering freezes whole computer

Hi,

I’m having a really big trouble since I cannot render absolutely nothing. I tried exporting as movie, exporting write nodes but it always stucks at 0% and freezes the whole computer, therefore having to cut the power to restart.

The scene is fairly simple, just a png background and a character rigged with also png parts and some camera movement.

I have an msi B350M motherboard, with a Ryzen 5 processor, geforce 1050Ti graphics card and 8gb ddr4 RAM. So I’m sure the computer can handle that…

Any ideas? Could it be that the user preferences are limiting the ammount of memory that harmony can use?

If you’re on Windows 10 make sure you have Quicktime 7.6 or
earlier as the latest versions are broken on Win 10.
