Removing interior frames from the timeline

Often while I’m animating I have to move frames around and I find my timeline has gaps where I don’t want them.

Scrolling to the end of the animation just to select the good frames and drag them over is time consuming, as is pressing “E” to remove a frame over 100 times.

Is there a faster way to do this?

Thank you,

Hey Will:

I think I thought you were asking something else, so I came up with the wrong solution. I was looking at a way to use the properties panel in cells, but that’s not the deal here.

Adobe Premiere has a function for deleting spaces as I recall, but Studio doesn’t have something like that to my knowledge.

I got nuttin’ for ya. Sorry :-\

Hi Will,

There actually is a way.

Select the hole in the exposure sheet (it won’t work in the timeline). Then simply press delete (right click>remove cell). This will shift back all your drawing the merge with the previous ones.

Hope this will help you out.

Best regards,

Ugo
