Re:export Xsheet

This is quite awesome. One question. Is this kind of a one time transferral of information?

What if you’re drawing several scenes and moving into animation on early stuff sooner than later stuff.

Can the earlier Pencil Test Pro file be updated and that info travel into the parallel Digital (Animate Pro) file that is already advancing in 3D stage layout, etc?

Or, do later scenes have their animation and x-sheets imported. Or, do later scenes have separate Animate Pro files, in this case/workflow?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Can I export Xsheet from ToonBoom PCP to ToonBoom DigitalPro ?

Hi,

The Pencil Check Pro structure actually contains a Digital Pro file. This file is a mirror of your Pencil Check Pro project so once you are done with your xsheet and line test you can simply open the .digital files and continue your project right where you left it with Digital Pro.

Hi,

Since Animate is a newer software then Pencil Check the transfer is a one way one has we change a lot in the file format between the version and Pencil Check would not be able to decode the structure anymore.

You may want to keep yourself a copy if you ever have to go back to Pencil Check.

Best regards,

Ugo
