Wow what a revelation. I was thinking of combining the 2 techniques, symbols and art, but hmmm I have to look into this more.
Just to be clear, you still create your heirachys, rigs, ect. but the only difference is you don’t use symbols? you still create a template?
Otherwise, it would just be straight up frame by frame animation. which given how easy it is to draw in animate is sounding kind of good right about now. I just frankly, lack the skills, and man power to do a full blown fbf animation.
yes it is still cut out animation.
Yes you can still do your drawing substitutions the same way.
I find it way easier to add drawings rather than going inside the symbol.
