Quicktime and Windows 10

So I know Toon Boom Studio is unavailable now, but I’ve had it for about 2 years, and I just recently changed laptops, also going from Windows 7 to Windows 10. And now that I’ve upgraded and reinstalled Studio, I’m unable to use it because it says “Quicktime is not installed on this machine. You must install Quicktime to run Toon Boom Studio [E1235]” Even though I’ve installed it.

I’ve uninstalled it and reinstalled it, I’ve installed it before I installed Studio, but it isn’t working. Any help is much appreciated.

Quicktime 7.7.8 (the current one) is not working properly on Windows 10.
You will need to install either Quicktime 7.7.6 or 7.7.7 which are working
correctly on Windows 10.

Make sure to uninstall 7.7.8 first and reboot the computer before installing
the older version and reboot again after the install.
