Putting a project together

when it comes to editing finished sequences and scenes together for the final save, what is the best way to do it? whenever I save each individual scene and re-import them together, the quality is decreased extremely…and toon boom can’t save all the raw files together without freezing. is there any free editing program or toon boom trick that can prevent this drop in quality and choppiness while a final edit?

Well, depending on your platform…?
Check out… “Movie Maker” for Windows / “iMovie” for Mac…

Otherwise try out those:
Jashaka, Virtual Dub, Avidemux, Zwei-Stein, Blender… etc.

Should those not satisfy your needs, you might have a look at…
Adobe Premier Elements (Windows), Final Cut Express (Mac OSX) and many more…

Anyway…
Choose your resolution and frame-rate before you start your project in Studio…
Use one of the common DV-, or HD-formats…

Personally, I would recommend creating all new projects in HDTV 1920 x 1080,
(leaving plenty of room for exporting later to any smaller size if necessary)

Stay with your chosen format through-out your whole project…
Either export from Studio as QuickTime Movie or Image-Sequence (PNG, TIFF or PSD)…
Then import those files into your chosen Video-Editor…
