Preview render resolution

when playing back a scene that has animated transparency in Animate, the program needs to render it first. Is there a way of setting a smaller preview render resolution so I’m not rendering an HD version each time? Or a way to force transparency to work in OGL?

Thanks,
Jeff

Do you mean the software render preview that you get from the camera view, or are you talking about a preview render that is actually exported?

For the camera view’s soft render, it’s based on the size of the camera view on your screen - so simply make the size of this window smaller and it should decrease the amount of time it takes to render.

For a render export, you can choose to set up a second resolution for your render preview. Set up a resolution with a smaller resolution but the same aspect ratio as your final HD. Then just change your resolution in the scene settings, and you can change it back to HD before doing your final render.

Hope this helps.
