Quick newbie question, are files between harmony editions compatible?, for example doing an advanced rig with master controls and other premium features, will an animator working with an essentials edition could animate it?
The FAQ page tells something among those lines, but I wanted to know what are the exact limits by user experience.

No, of course not. To make use of advanced rigging features, you will need the Premium version. Otherwise a studio would install one Premium license, have the technical director rig up all the characters with master controls, and install essentials on all the animators’ stations.
Obviously this would be bad news for Toon Boom - and consequently, it doesn’t work that way. All animators would need the premium version.
