PLEASE HELP: Toonboom animate pro 3 not opening in Windows 8

We are experiencing a problem with Toonboom animate pro 3 on one of our pc’s. The welcome screen opens but when we try to open a project file or create a new one, a window pops up for a second and then disappears and the program does nothing further. In the task manager, we can see the program is running but it is not visible at all.

I can also add that we have tried uninstalling and re-installing but it does not solve the issue. When creating a new user account on the pc, the program does in fact open, but we need it to open in our current account because that is where all the files are.

Everything was working fine last night, this problem suddenly started to occur this morning

This problem is quite urgent as we are on a strict deadline.

By looking at it, there is possible of corruption on Workspace that you may had two monitor with different resolution when the application has opened in larger resolution that is now not being opened in smaller resolution. In case this is it, try resetting the workspace as followings
-Close any Animate Pro running on your machine
-Browse to C:\Users(user_name)\AppData\Roaming\Toon Boom Animation\Toon Boom Animate Pro\ and rename 1050-layouts-xml as 1050-layouts-xml_back for back up. And then open Animate Pro to see if it works.
If this is the case, I recommend you to uncheck ‘Automatically Save Workspace’ in Preferences>General Tab so that it does not save (bad) workspace setting automatically when you close the application. Instead, you can manually save the workspace as you wish.
