Some times when I paint with the bucket the program locks up it says it is not responding. Then the program shuts down. Is there a fix for this?
Which version of Toon Boom Studio are you using?
There was a problem similar to this in version 5.0. If that is the version you have, you can try downloading the most current build to fix the problem.
If this does not work, you can contact support@toonboom.com for some help.

If you log in to the website and go to your account, you should be able to download the current version of your software. We did fix a problem with the paint bucket causing crashes.
