Hi all
I just need to know if it’s possible to open TB Studio files in TB Animate.
Also, can you open TBA pro files in animate?
Thanks.

Toon Boom Studio files are not compatible with Toon Boom Animate.
Workaround: Export from Studio as SWF, then import those files into Animate.
As far as I know, basic Animate Pro files can be opened in Animate…
Specific Pro features (effects) will be ignored and lost…
Okay, thanks!! Does that workaround present any problems when working with the files in animate? Like, can I still work on them, alter them, change lines, etc, as if it was created in animate? In other words, will it be a working file or like a single image? Thanks again!
Importing single drawings are easy to transfer…
More complex hierarchical characters will loose their former setup…
All single drawings will be on their own layer…
One has to rename and establish the former hierarchy again…
Importing animated characters will even get more complex…
Otherwise, one can work (make changes) on any drawing as usual…
SOLVED
I was’n able to import .SWF files in to Toonboom Animate PRO 2.
but i found out how on youtube
