Onion Skin Problem

Hello. I seem to be having some trouble with the onion skin feature in Toon Boom Animate.

When I’m starting a new project and use the onion skin everything is fine and I can see the before and after frames in onion skin even when timeline view loses focus and I click on the X-sheet. But when I open one of my projects the onion skin only works when the timeline view is focused and it has to be a selected frame for it to work.

Any help?

This might be something related to your scene. As such, I would recommend emailing techsupport@toonboom.com directly so that they can set up an ftp site to upload your scene to and take a look at your scene and see if they can reproduce the problem.

Okay. I figured it out myself. Istead of clicking the show onion skin on the timeline I’ve been clicking the “show onion skin” button on the tool bar (by default on the left).
